Uncover the rich stories hidden behind this fully developed new town—tracing its evolution from historical market places, fertile farmland, and ancient walled villages into today's vibrant neighborhoods along the riverbanks.

Guided by docents along dedicated cycle tracks, you will navigate through various riverside landmarks and discover the authentic daily rhythm of local residents. Feel the fresh breeze and changing river light while exploring historical footprints tucked within the community, experiencing the gentle pace of life in Sha Tin.

  • Morning Session: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Afternoon Session: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

• Duration: 2 hours

• Target Audience: Ages 6+ with proficient bicycle-riding skills (Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above)

• Location: Sha Tin Town Centre to Shek Mun

• Fee: HKD 200 per person (Same rate for adults and children)

  (Fee includes a Locobike Day Pass and 1 drink at a local refreshment kiosk)

• Capacity: Max. 15 participants per session (Minimum 6 participants required to run the tour)

• Registration & Spots: Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Confirmation Process: After submitting your registration, please wait for confirmation from "Kaifong Tour". Processing typically takes up to 5 working days. A confirmation email will be sent once your registration is successful.

• Check-in: Confirmed participants should arrive at the assembly point 15 minutes prior to the start time (i.e., the meeting time). Late arrivals will forfeit their spot.

• Apparel & Preparation: Wear comfortable sports clothing and athletic shoes. Please bring sun protection and sufficient drinking water (700ml or more recommended).

• Audio Gear: We recommend bringing your own 3.5mm wired earphones to connect to the tour receivers. (Earphones will also be available on-site if needed.)

• Media Release: Participants acknowledge and agree that photography and/or video recording may take place during the event without prior explicit consent. The resulting photos and/or videos may be used for reporting, promotion, or other purposes deemed appropriate by "Kaifong Tour".
